Voyageur Parent Advisory Council engages parents with the school. Weaim to support students and staff at Voyageur, and to help create a positive school environment.
PAC meets for approximately one hour (5:00-6:00 p.m.) on the first Monday of every month in the library. Examples of meetings topics:
-students' learning, current projects, contests, guests coming to the school, social emotional learning focus, school initiatives, and field trips
-fundraising, and allocating fundraised/grant money
-hot lunch plans, or other food-related offers (i.e. treats for fun day)
-communications with parents and staff
Any parent or guardian whose child is a student at Voyageur is considered a member of the VPAC. All members are encouraged to attend meetings whenever possible, as volunteers are key to putting plans into action.
